Bereavement Sessions 

Available to those who have recently lost a loved one, at no charge.

This grief support group meets at Green Hills Memorial Park the first Thursday of every month at 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information please contact (310) 521-4468

How to Survive the Holidays

For families who have lost a loved one, each November we invite a grief counselor to give a seminar that is held at Green Hills Memorial Park. This service is provided free to the community. For more information contact  (310) 521-4460

Advanced Planning Seminar

We hold an annual gathering to share pertinent information that can help relieve the burden, frustration or family tension that normal funeral arrangements may cause. These types of seminars can also be arranged to take place at a location of your choice.

Easter Sunrise Service 

We held our first Easter Sunrise Service in the spring of 1948. Today, it is the largest Easter Sunrise outdoor service in the South Bay area. 

The multi-denominational service is celebrated in conjunction with the South Coast Interfaith Council and San Pedro Pastors Fellowship. All are welcome. 

Memorial Day Observance  

We continue to honor our fallen soldiers with a special Memorial Day weekend event that draws over 15,000 visitors to the park. We are privileged to host California’s largest Memorial Day service, conducted annually at 10:00 A.M.
