Betty Sindoni (McDougall) passed away on June 24th 2012 in Rolling Hills Estates, California at the age of 84. Betty was born to John and Florence McDougall in Santa Monica, California on March 26, 1928. She was a lifelong resident of Southern California, having lived in Palos Verdes for 38 years. She was preceded in death by her brothers William and Gordon. Betty is survived by her husband of 53 years, Albert, and her daughters; Linda (Ed) Sanchez, Susan (Kirk) Wright and Jill (Ron) Phillips. Betty also leaves behind her eight grandchildren; Jennifer, Kristen, Amethyst, Amber, Taylor, Aaron, Blake and Nash. Betty loved being with her family and watching her grandchildren grow. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She knew her time on Earth was limited and told us that she had done everything she wanted to do in her life. Her only regret was that she would not be able to see all of her grandchildren grow up to be adults. Betty will be missed by all of her family and friends. She was loved by all who knew her, but will be especiallly missed by her best friend of over 70 years, Marlene McKenna. Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Green Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
