Francisca Liwanag

January 29, 1936 - January 2, 2022

Francisca was born on January 29,1936 to Margarita Dalangin and Quirino Liwanag in Angeles City, Philippines. She was the 4th of 5 siblings: Carmelita, Eloy, Monica, and Caridad. At the age of 16, she started working as a dishwasher at Spic and Span restaurant, while taking high school classes at night. Later, she became a nurse assistant and worked at Clinica Henson. She had her daughter Agnes in 1968. Agnes got married in 1995 to Bernard, and Francisca retired at age 60 years old working as a nurse assistant. Her granddaughter Akela was born in 1998 and grandson Francis was born in 2000. She lived with Agnes, Bernard, Akela and Francis, whom she took care of each and every day. She was a devoted grandmother and mother who always put her family first. She lived as a faithful Catholic through thoughtful prayers and sacrifices. She passed away peacefully at the age of 85 in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by family on January 2, 2022.
