Robert Giles

October 31, 1935 - February 5, 2022

Devoted Husband, Farther and Grandfather Robert L. Giles 86, past away on Saturday February 5th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born October 31,1935 in Spirit River, Alberta Canada. Robert married “Muriel Adie” on February 18th, 1961 in Banff, Alberta Canada. They eventually made it out to California in 1964 as Robert accepted a job at the “Crocker Bank” in Down Town LA. Where he worked as a Loan Officer and then to a Branch Manager. In 1972, they bought a house in South Torrance, CA and raised their two children. Robert worked for the Bank for a few more years after which he purchased his own Dry Cleaning Plant in Long Beach, CA and worked in the Dry Cleaning business for 30+ years. Robert is survived by his children, Sharon Loree Giles, and Kurt Lundy Giles and grandchildren; Alexa, Dylan, and Catherine and many extended, family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park, in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 12:30p.m.
